Overnight simmered ground pork and beef with preserved farmer’s market tomatoes, charred leek, purple onion, with every bit of summer garlic I could find in my pantry. finished with fennel seed, fresh basil, sage, oregano, and thyme. Served in a roasted squash bowl as a perfect compliment.
