Transitions
There’s a certain kind of momentum that shows up this time of year—you can feel it in the mornings, a little brighter, a little louder, like everything’s quietly gearing up for something good.
Out on the farm, that energy has us moving in all directions at once. Some folks are pouring concrete for the new milking parlor, others are keeping watch over brand-new piglets, while a few are racing the clock to bring in asparagus before tonight’s freeze.
Spring has a way of stirring things into motion—shaking off winter’s slower pace and replacing it with something more kinetic, more alive.
So here we are, reworking spaces to make room for what’s ahead and testing out a few new ideas we’re pretty excited about. It’s that in-between season where plans begin to take shape into things you can touch, taste, and share.
How about you—what’s been taking shape on your end? Whether it’s something you’ve been building slowly or a spark that just arrived out of nowhere, this time of year has a way of getting things unstuck. And if you’re in the mood to lean into it a little more, keep reading—we’ve got a few upcoming gatherings that feel just right for the season.

✨ Movement! During these long spring days, I find myself climbing at The Jug in Redmond two to three times a week. So good for me.
✨ Ice cream. I’m making a batch nearly every weekend. Here is my go to base recipe.
✨ I’m currently reading Braiding Sweetgrass and Priory of the Orange Tree. I love juggle two books at once. Something poetic and something fantastical. Meet me on Goodreads!
