I really do love all of the New Year’s celebrations. I love any opportunity to be close with your people, dress up, reflect, set goals, and of course, eat good food. Something that doesn’t always sit right with me is a New Year’s resolution. I love the idea of them, but in practice, why is it that they are always forgotten and discarded by the middle of February, at best? Trust me, I love setting reflection, seeing the gap between where you are and where you want to be, then setting goals to shrink that gap. So why do New Year’s resolutions never work? I’m sure there are some rockstars out there who set resolutions and achieve them every year. But for me, I just can’t seem to nail the formula for a successful New Year’s resolution! Well, here we are, at New Year’s resolution setting time again. Although I don’t love them, it doesn’t seem right to abandon them altogether. So in the spirit of the season, I’ve decided to set a less rigid, more generous “Ins and Outs” list instead. Here are my ins and outs for 2026!
