Rainshadow Organics is excited to offer a Seasonal Chef Residency for a talented and passionate culinary professional to immerse themselves in our farm-to-table experience. This unique opportunity allows you to create innovative, seasonally driven menus using ingredients sourced directly from our certified organic farm. As a Chef-in-Residence, you will collaborate with our farm and kitchen teams to deliver exceptional dining experiences that reflect our commitment to regenerative agriculture and sustainable food practices.
Responsibilities:
- Seasonal Menu Development: Design and execute creative, farm-to-table menus that showcase the best of Rainshadow Organics’ seasonal produce, herbs, and responsibly raised meats.
- Culinary Leadership: Lead and support the kitchen team in food preparation, cooking, and presentation, ensuring high standards of quality and consistency for both public and private events.
- Event Execution: Manage and execute multi-course meals at farm events, including private and public dinners and brunches, and weddings. Oversee service and ensure the delivery of an exceptional dining experience.
Program Details:
- Duration: Seasonal residency (June through October, with flexibility for start and end dates)
- Compensation: 18% of ticket sales
- Schedule: Part-time, including evenings and weekends for event execution
