Description

Join our Farm Staff and our Chef in Residence, Vanna Rasmusen, in our Market Garden for this special collaborative dinner. We are excited to welcome the Oregon Chapter of Backcountry Hunters and Anglers to our regenerative farm & ranch. Spend this beautiful evening with the board members of BHA and learn how organic farming and ranching practices go hand and hand with the ethics of BHA.

Backcountry Hunters and Anglers (BHA) is a non-profit public lands advocacy organization. They pride ourselves on being the voice for public lands, waters, and wildlife. As hunters and anglers, they are conservationists and conscious eaters. BHA members have a keen interest in sustainable food systems, particularly the sustainable harvest of wild protein, which they then supplement with produce from farms that practice regenerative agriculture. BHA believes in ecological integrity and strives to support intact ecosystems through science-based wildlife management and holistic, regenerative farming.

At Rainshadow Organics have developed our Farm-to-Table kitchen into a culinary destination and are proud to show case certified organic vegetables exclusively from Rainshadow paired with our pastured, chemical free and GMO-free meats. This 4-course dinner will highlight the creativity of Chef Vanna and the flavor and bounty of our Central Oregon farm.

This event starts at 6 pm with a farm tour. Dinner begins at 7 pm. This meal will be served in our Market Garden at our community longtables. Be prepared to sit with new friends!

Included with your ticket purchase is one raffle ticket for the evenings raffle items. BHA is bringing $1900 in raffle items for the evening. Also included in the ticket price is an engraved aluminum pint with BHA and Rainshadow logos.
