Week 2, comin’ atcha.

I think we should be proud of our first week together.  Almost every one of you picked up.  Strong work!!!  Our fields are full of fresh produce and we’ll be harvesting our little brains out this week.  Looking forward to seeing you all again.

For all members who don’t have a pre-boxed share (Locavore and Home Delivery), you are welcome to pick up at any of our market style locations.  Bend Farmers Market on Wednesday, our farm store on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday, as well as the NWX Saturday Market.  This gives you lots of options.

The Text Reminder Saga…

I tell you what, I spend a lot of time trying to get us all set up for success.  Most of your got three invites to the text reminders and then no reminder.  Well……

This is whats up: The engineers at Remind are currently tracking an issue impacting SMS delivery and automated responses for the 81010 shortcode. They are working hard to get this resolved as quickly as possible, though we do not have an exact timeframe for the fix just yet.

Right now, users are receiving automated Remind invitations from a temporary 10-digit phone number instead of the usual 81010 code. Because of this change, some carriers are filtering the messages, or replies are failing to link properly.

For now, if you are in need of text reminders, the only way to accept the SMS invitation is by sending YES to 81010. Before doing so, please check your phone’s spam or junk folder, as some messages may have been filtered by their carrier. Don’t reply directly to the random 10-digit number from which you received the invitation, as that number does not accept replies.

All the reminders have been scheduled and if you can get around this snafoo, Congratulations!
Otherwise, once I hear that the system has been fixed, I’ll send another invitation that should run smoothly.
