Straight from the waters of the Columbia River Basin, these wild fillets are sustainably caught by Joe, a tribal fisherman from the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs. Each fillet is the result of generations of traditional fishing knowledge, care for the land and water, and a deep commitment to feeding the community.

This week’s catch:

Chinook and Steelhead!

Chinook Salmon
Known as the king of Pacific salmon, Chinook is prized for its rich flavor, buttery texture, and high omega-3 content.

Steelhead
Often mistaken for salmon, steelhead are ocean-going rainbow trout. They are highly prized for their light pink flesh, tender flake, and rich, slightly sweet flavor.

We have 8 fresh Chinook fillets available, ranging from 1.5 to 3.5 pounds and we have plenty of frozen fillets ranging from 2 to 4 pounds.

We also have 13 fresh Steelhead fillets available, ranging from just over 1 to 2.5 pounds and several frozen fillets about the same weight range.

When you are checking out online you have the option of adding a note about the preferred weight for your fillet. We’ll do our best to match your preferred size, though some of these king salmons came in impressively large this week.
