Central Oregon Farmer’s Markets are open! Get creative with cooking the first of this season’s produce in this hands-on workshop and dinner on Saturday, June 9th at 5pm.Rainshadow is partnering with farmer + chef Michelle Aronson of Farmbelly to launch our first on-farm cooking classes in our beautiful kitchen and farm store. We will begin with a tour of our market garden (weather permitting), followed by an engaging cooking class where we will prepare a three-course meal to be enjoyed on our porch. In this class, we will cover the following:
Knife skills lesson
What to expect in June from Central Oregon farms and how to build delicious meals with our local ingredients
The art of a seasonal salad (without needing a recipe)
This class is great for our CSA members eager to get inspiration or for those new to Rainshadow and curious about sustainable farming.
Your ticket includes all ingredients, materials, a recipe packet to be emailed after the class, and farm fresh 3-course meal. Feel free to bring a bottle of wine or beer to have with dinner.
