New Crops are Sprouting!

The excitement of the summer harvest is setting in, indicated by the longer days and later sunsets! The peas are sprouting arms to climb up the trellises, onions are getting their second round of trimming, and the finale of Siberian kale is being harvested. Central Oregon spring is setting in. This week will bring an abundance of kale, as we are pushing out the final round of our favorite leafy green. Below, find kale recipes, and ways to use up the last of the squash.

Just so you know! We have onion tops in the store! They are amazing in your eggs or biscuits, added to marinades, chopped up into salads, or any place you would add a chive or green onion!

We know, you might be feeling tired of squash. If so, this will be a great week to focus on using up the last of our favorite leafy green, Siberian kale! We added some kale inspiration below and a few recipes to use up that squash in a less “squashy” way!
