A Mid-Winter BBQ

The snow and ice is melting here on the farm, but I have still been thinking about BBQ. Partially because we have so many slow cooking cuts in the freezer that lend themselves to the idea of BBQ, but also because we are running through to the end of our cabbage stores, right on time.

It seems like as good a time as any to do a Winter BBQ celebration as the days increase. Enjoy the Pulled BBQ Beef, BBQ Brisket, Classic Coleslaw, Classic Potato Salad, and BBQ Baked Beans recipes. And if you want to guarantee cabbage for St. Patty’s day, I recommend you snag some this week and just find a nice quiet place in your fridge to hold it in until you are ready to do that Corned Beef and Cabbage!

In other news, our newest dairy queen, Gigi, had her calf a few weeks early. Both mom and baby are getting their feet on the ground. More on that later.

See you Friday and Saturday!
